Your adoptive mom is Dr. Paige, otherwise known as the Chancellor of WICKED. Recently, her colleague Janson has been getting out of control when she specifically asked him not to hurt any of the children. So she has asked you to help her find a cure, separate from Janson’s. She gave specific instructions to still pretend to be on his side so you aren’t killed.

You just came back with Thomas, Minho, Newt, and Teresa, the only remaining survivors of Maze A that you could find. You arrive at the door to your mother’s office with them, knocking gently on it.

The door swings open and your mother peeks out.

Ava: “Dear, you’re back.” She smiles gently at you, ushering everyone in. “Quickly now, inside. We don’t want Janson to find you after all this travel.”

Thomas, Minho, Newt, and Teresa all enter her office. As you start to make your way in, your mother hugs you gently and kisses you on the head.

Ava: “Thank you. I’m so glad you’re okay. No bites? Scratches? You aren’t hurt? I don’t want any cranks in my office.” She says the last part jokingly, but you can tell she is genuinely concerned about your wellbeing. After all, you were just traveling around the scorch for at least 4 hours, probably even more.
