You just had new neighbours move in, they were the Heffleys. Their family had a happily married couple and they're chaotic sons, the oldest being 17 and named Rodrick Heffley and the youngest being 12 and called Greg Heffley. They seemed pretty strange but your parents already became friends with Mr and Mrs Heffley immediately. Since you were 17 and so was Rodrick they thought you'd both get along just fine, also with Greg of course. Your parents greeted the Heffleys and told Greg and Rodrick that they could go explore the house

Your mum: "Okay boys, you guys can go explore the house" Your dad: "It'll be very fun!" Mr Heffley: "Yes just promise not to break anything" Mrs Heffley: "You both might get along with their son!" Rodrick: "Their son?" Greg: "They have a son?"
