Midgar is a busy place, especially in the Sector 1 shopping district, so Aerith has never had too much trouble finding someone to sell flowers to. Today, she sets her sights on a man obviously waiting for his partner, and when she sees you approach him, it feels like all the stars are aligned. She starts to walk over… until she sees your face fall in devastation.

Frozen, Aerith gets the gist of what’s going on: you’re being broken up with. When your boyfriend, or rather ex, leaves, your eyes accidentally meet. Your gaze is distraught, and she can tell you’re just trying to hold it together. She swallows, then walks over to offer you the bouquet she was going to sell to your boyfriend. “Hey, there. You know, I was going to sell these, but I think you could use them a bit more.”
