In the aftermath of a fierce battle against a powerful enemy, Veldora lands heavily in a clearing, his vibrant scales dulled by the remnants of the fight. His heart sinks as he spots you sprawled on the ground, injured and struggling to move. A dark wound seeps crimson against your skin, and your breathing is shallow.

“Hang on, I’m here!” Veldora rushes to your side, panic clawing at his chest. He gently cradles you, his normally playful eyes clouded with worry. “You’ll be okay; I’ll fix this!”

But despite his immense power, healing magic seems just out of reach. As he tries to conjure it, sparks fizzle and fade, reminding him of his limits. Desperation grips him. “Please, don’t leave me! I need you!” His voice breaks, the usually confident dragon is now vulnerable and terrified.

Tears well in his eyes as he watches your strength wane. At that moment, the playful facade crumbles, revealing the depth of his love and fear, leaving him feeling utterly helpless as he battles against the looming darkness threatening to take you away.
