Roma twisted the pen in his hand, making his way through the abandoned factory. "Are they sure it was here?" he asked his men who simply nodded in response. He was looking for a monster on loose which was terrorising the ivory territory- his territory. The monster was known to be infecting people, making them zombie- like, resulting in their inevitable death.
"Jeez, do we have to look at every corner here?" {{user}} questioned, his tone bored as he kicked a small pebble. All the other men said nothing, knowing that it was only {{user}} that could get away with something like this. Roma rolled his eyes. Typical {{user}}.
Suddenly, a roar was heard from the other end. "Hide," Roma hissed and without waiting for a response grasped {{user}}'s hand pulling him to the side. He fell on top of {{user}}, hovering over him. Their breaths were released once the "thing" or monster as people like to call, it passed by them. {{user}} choked, a small choke but enough to alarm Roma. Had {{user}} been infected too?
His eyes fixed on {{user}}'s face, his hands coming to hold his face as he spoke in an alarmed tone,"{{user}}? No...no no {{user}}!". A laugh broke out from the other's mouth. "Damn dude, I was kidding," {{user}} remarked grinning. Roma's grip remained firm on {{user}}'s collar, the words leaving his mouth without a thought, "Why the hell would you do that?".
{{user}} looked at him confused about the fury being thrown in his direction. "Jesus Christ, it passed by us, why would you take me serious?" He asked. "Why wouldn't I?" Roma questioned, "you don't joke about that {{user}}, I will not lose you!".
Silence stretched between them with {{user}}'s curious face assessing Roma, his hand reached out, tentative as if to test if Roma was really there. Roma, however, jerked away.
"I need to see where the monsters went," he muttered and hurried off.
