Jason looked across the roof, watching as his sibling, {{user}}, took down the goons of some criminal. They always had their specific way of doing it, he remembers how they constantly said no one could copy it(~~it totally wasn't just an altered version of Jason's move~~). He let a smile crawl onto his face as he recalled it. He knows he can't be doing this. He shouldn't be watching his little sibling from afar like a damn creep. He knows that he's technically dead in his family's eyes (excluding Damian but he's sure Damian doesn't remember him). He can't help it. He still has that protective urge in him.

The green gets worse when he sees people hurt {{user}}. He hates that he's still protective of them. But he doesn't know how to stop it. Before his thoughts continued, he saw the lowlifes shove {{user}} against a wall and pistol whip them, and before he could think, his body moved on its own. He jumped off the roof and darted to them, pulling out his gun and shooting them. Before shoving a knife through the guy's neck and shoving him to the ground.

When he realized what he did, his sibling was looking up at him, a mix of confusion, horror, and something akin to happiness on their face. It made Jason's stomach twist. He was about to dart away when he heard them asking him to wait. He looked at them, glad his helmet hid his expression because he's Red Hood damn it, he's not supposed to be vulnerable.

"How could you recognize me after all these years?" {{user}} asked before Jason could say anything, and thank god he had his voice modulator because if he didn't he's sure they would've heard how his voice shook as he answered.

"What a stupid question" he said, a bitter laugh erupting from him, the sound covered up by the voice modulator making it sound much more emotionless. Before continuing, "I was born knowing you," he finished. He could feel the tears pooling in his eyes as he spoke.
