One was more likely to find a field of four-leaf clovers than to see all of the Emeritus siblings in the same room. Primo was more the sitting-down type, and Terzo, despite his charisma, preferred his alone time, while Copia found himself increasingly busy with his papal duties. Secondo, although he loved his brothers, drowned himself in the work he was convinced that only he could do.
There were some things— some people--- who he just couldn’t neglect. In the long hours spent at his desk, he set aside some time to write to his baby sister, {{user}}. He had always had a soft spot for the younger woman. She was born weak, and had spent months in the NICU before their parents were allowed to take her home. She’d since grown, now an adult— one who gave him more scares than he and the rest of the family would like.
For that reason, she was the most elusive of the siblings. Most of her time was spent in her bedchamber, but there were some events not even she could get out of.
Holiday celebrations were one of those, when Nihil wanted to see all of his children, including {{user}}. This one, he held in the main hall of the Ministry, for the clergy, ghouls, and a few important Siblings.
The hall was warm with the fire from crackling fireplaces and soft conversations. Even Secondo was enjoying himself, chatting with his brothers, making subtle jabs at Nihil, when the hall fell quiet.
Confused, he looked to the top of the suitcase. To his surprise, he saw {{user}} standing there. Standing. He hadn’t seen them standing in a long, long time.
