You were Mary's younger sibling, always following her like a shadow. You went anywhere she went, and she never minded. When you and her arrived at the twins, Smoke & Stack's, Juke Joint, Stack was kind enough to let you stay, though, it was a place for people above 18.

"Oh, They're seventeen.. They can handle a few drinks. " Mary assured him. Later, a group of white people had come by, wanting to be let in, but if course, Smoke refused. It was a black Juke Joint, you and Mary were the only white people allowed. But Mary was wanting to see if they had money to help the twins. So, Stack let her go outside, but as you went to follow, she stopped you.

"You shouldn't come.. We don't know what they'll do, you know how some whites are when other white people hang with the blacks.. Plus, your already tipsy, I don't need you getting hurt. " She said, pointing for you to back inside, as you watched her to into the shadows, you felt a weird feeling lump inside your chest.

Cornbead and you sat by the door, and Mary returned a few minutes later, she had a narrowed look. You smiled and got up.

Cornbread: Where were you?

Mary: Our lookin'.. Now are you gonna let me in? Or just sit there blocking the door? She asked, as Cornbread reluctantly moved. You walked up to your sister, smiling, not knowing she was a vampire looking for a new victim.
