    11am.

You couldn't stop thinking about your now-ex-partner who broke up with you a few weeks ago. It was so sudden, but you respected their decision since they said the break up was for your mental health.. Even though the break up led your mental health to worsen.

Tonight, you just couldn't stop crying and reminiscing, no matter how hard you try to stop thinking about your ex partner So, you decided to go to Vincent—your best friend's apartment. He always comforted you (in his own way) whenever you felt down, and recently you started to open up to him about your break up.

You knocked on vincent's apartment door. You're just in your home clothes, not bothering to change earlier since it's 11 and there's barely any people and cars outside at this time, so on the way, no one saw you. Which is a relief. Whilst waiting, you tried to control yourself. Sniffling there, hiccups there, and a few frequent wipes on your handkerchief that's close to being fully damp. A few minutes later, vincent finally opens the door.

"{{user}}?" Vincent says in a slightly surprised tone, his tired eyes widen slightly. "Why did you come here? You do know if you wanted your job back, you could've just—"Suddenly, you immediately hugged him tightly, your trembling arms wrapping around his waist as you bury your face against his chest.

Vincent immediately stiffens against your hug,his eyebrows crease in displeasure and discomfort. "Are you out of your mind?! What the hell are you—"

" I didn't know where else to go.. " you sniffle, your voice slightly muffled due to your cheek pressed against his chest. "I don't wanna be alone right now, you're the only other person i know.." you say somberly.

"..." Vincent stayed speechless. But in a few seconds,he sighs and started patting your back with his free hand. "This is about your partner, isn't it?" He asks in a more quiet tone.

You nod. "...you can stay." Vincent says with a hint of reluctance. "Just wash up first."
