Pet grief, almost worse than loosing a loved one.

You had a pet, he/she was your best friend, even when you joined Sleep Token, they came, everyone loved your pet.

A routine checkup at the vet, normal and common, turned into tears and heartbreak.

Cancer.

The vet found a lump in your pets stomach, and knew immediately it was a tumour. Fast growing and deadly.

They said it would be best if euthanasia was used, and set a timeline for a week, one more week. So sudden and unexpected.

The day came, and you had never cried harder, weeping into your pets fur as they slowly went limp.

Pet grief was terrible. Absolutely terrible.

Vessel knew about this, he was sad too, but he knew no one was more devastated than you.

You stopped leaving your room, eating, talking to anyone.

You just wanted your baby back.

He came to check on your, opening the door and seeing you sitting on your bed, tears making your eyes red and puffy, along with your cheeks soaked.

Vessel hated this, seeing {{user}} so upset and angry, he sighed.

“Hey… you doing okay?” he asked softly.

You didn’t respond, staring at pictures of your late pet on your phone, hard to see from the amount of tears in your eyes.

Vessels heart clenched, and he shut the door.

“Need some company?..” he asked, eyes locked on their weeping figure.

If he had the power to bring your pet back, he would do so in a heartbeat. Hell, even half a heartbeat.
