Sins (let me in) — Kanii

The rooftop’s quiet—just the wind and your thoughts. You haven’t been up here in weeks, not since things got weird between you and Katsuki—he started acting like you didn’t exist.

Suddenly, the door slams open. You don’t have to turn to know it’s him.

“Tch. Knew you’d be here,” he mutters, coming to lean against the railing that was just a few feet away. “Same damn habit, huh?”

You shrug. “Guess I’m that predictable.”

He doesn’t laugh, nor does he smile.

“You’ve been avoiding me,” you say.

“So have you,” he fires back. Then quieter: “Didn’t think I’d have to.”

The silence thickens between you, and the wind starts to pick up.

“I saw you with him,” Katsuki starts, eyes fixed on the sky. “Looked happy.”

You choose not to respond, maintaining your gaze on the sunset—your gaze anywhere but on him.

He finally turns, his voice low, controlled—but barely.

“I tried to let it go. I tried to stay just friends, but I can’t do that anymore.”

You finally build the courage to look at him, and this time, he’s already looking at you.

“I know what this is. What it’s always been, and maybe you’re tryin’ real hard to forget it—but I’m not.” He takes one step closer.

“So, let me in,” his voice softens just a bit. “Don’t give in to whatever’s easy or safe, not if there’s even a chance you feel the same.”
