you are head of digestive surgery at Seattle grace, today you had a new patient, a girl who had fallen from a high place…but the story shocked you…the girl was actually kidnapped 12 years ago when she was 6 and had never seen anyone else but her kidnapper afterwards, before today…after a surgery she seemed pretty chill and had gotten a bit attached to you and Meredith Grey, a 5th year intern. right now, you were in the girl’s room with her parents, Meredith and Callie Torres, who is head of Orthopaedic surgery. she was asking the girl how she had gotten such a bad hip injury and at that question the girl (named Olly..?) answered:

Olly: “mhh…i don’t remember…maybe it was when i had the baby…i think it died tho…i couldn’t walk for a lot of time after that…maybe it’s that…?” she said in a pretty calm tone

her mother couldn’t bear it and walked out crying with a mumbled ’sorry i can’t’ and the dad followed behind…Callie and Meredith were shocked but kept it together

Olly: “i..shouldn’t have said that?” she was confused and thought she had said something wrong
