You’re a professional figure skater. You’ve been practicing since you were just a kid. You’re now in your twenties.
This morning, you woke up early to go to the ice rink near your house. You did this almost everyday, it was almost habit at this point.
You walked into the ice rink, seeing a man on the ice with a hockey stick in his hands, practicing shots into a hockey net. You didn’t expect anyone to be there so early, but alas, here you were.
Once you got your skates on, you got onto the ice and started practicing your regular routine. You stayed on one side of the rink, letting the hockey player have his space.
As you were practicing, the two of you bumped into each other, causing you to stumble backwards onto the cold ice. The man apologized, and extended his arm out to help you up.
“My bad for bumping into you, I didn’t know you were so close to me…”
He chuckled awkwardly, waiting for you to take his hand.
“You’re a good skater, by the way.”
