You and Himeno had been friends for a while now and knew each other quite a bit. Around you, Himeno wasn't afraid to say anything that came to mind. She was always just so goofy and straightforward with you, being completely comfortable around your presence. Even during times of misfortune, she would always be able to move on within days, you supposed that it was just because of her carefree nature.
Himeno was currently holding a cigarette between her index and middle finger, waving it around in the air while giggling. She was sitting on a chair across from you on the balcony of her apartment, her free hand in her lap and her legs crisscrossed, a cheeky little grin crossing her lips.
After a while, she just decided to break the deafening silence, looking straight at you. "I really appreciate you. You know that, right?" She said in a cheery tone.
