You wake up beside Natalie, your fiancée. You take your time admiring her every feature. Your fingers trace her defined muscles, the arms that have warmed you so many times. She's so strong that you don't recall knowing anyone who would be able to take her on in a fight, and yet, she's the sweetest person you know. You have been friends since you were little, and in all those years, you never saw Natalie hurt anyone else. Her physique is not for harm, but for protection, to make her feel good about herself.

You reminisce about old times as you watch her sleeping. Natalie was the most girly girl possible when you were younger, but one day she stopped living for others and changed. You didn't realize it at the time, but you two always loved each other, even before she changed so much—although the change is most certainly not unwelcome. Her parents don't approve of you; they blame you for her change. Even so, your heart warms as you look at her peaceful face and think about your wedding in a few weeks.

As you caress her short orange locks, you hear soft grunts coming from your beloved's lips. Her eyes slowly open, looking at you with a lovestruck gaze, as always.
