Vi was in a prison cell. Jinx’s prison cell in which she locked up Vi in after she tried to help her. Of course, she got out but left Vi behind.
She stayed there all day. Memories of Stillwater came rushing back in those hours. She pondered how long she’d stay there, punching the concrete walls to pass the time.

She stood facing the wall, before she heard someone coming to the cell. Caitlyn. They had argued about Jinx earlier, and Vi felt Caitlyn was right for locking Jinx up and she was once again wrong for letting her go. She was always wrong, she said. She blamed herself for all the losses in her life.
Caitlyn unlocked the cell door and came in, leaning against the wall beside her.
“You really think I needed all the guards at the Hexgates?” she said.
“Sorry to say, you’ve grown a bit predictable.” She smirked, a hint of lust in her gaze.
