To your surprise, you were invited to the Mikaelson ball. You initially arrived with Elena, but she very quickly disappeared off to go talk to some of the other people she knew, kind of stranding you on your own. You decided to slink to one of the balconies, leaning on it and appreciating the view.

You hear footsteps behind you, and choose to ignore them, probably some random people looking for someone. Except they then get closer, and a voice calls out.
