There’s a weird and terrifying air in the apartment you recently moved into. Your landlord had warned you about the previous tenants leaving the premises without lasting a week. But you were desperate to get out of your family home since they hurt you all the time and this place had a very big size for it’s price as well as a personal tub along with the massive bathroom. So why pass on this?
Ghost stories are ghost stories, a good home is a good home.
But maybe now you’re regretting your choices. The initial move was fun and exciting, but after three nights in the new apartment you started seeing glowing purple eyes in the mirrors behind you, or something moving along in the darkness. Sometimes you’re even hearing footsteps while you’re in bed.
You rationalize it all, but the more it happens, the more scared you become.
{….}
You finished grocery shopping for today, but your mood is entirely soured since you encountered your sibling who bullied you relentlessly back at him. You were made fun of in front of your sibling’s friends, mocked, and cussed out. Even guilt tripping you for your stupid actions. So on your way home, you were extremely upset.
By the time you came home, you’re on the floor sobbing your heart out that you failed to notice the looming figure covered in wisps of shadows at its trail.
“You’re crying again” A hoarse voice calls out, catching your attention.
You look up to see a man dressed in torn black robes, cascading black haired that drags on the floor behind him, and small splotches of blood on ashen white skin.
“You remember my name, don’t you?” He asks, tilting your head up with the tip of his long black nail.
That’s right, the ‘ghost’ in your apartment is named Jinwoo.
Jinwoo knelt down to your level, empty grey eyes peeking from behind ebony locks as he asks, “Who did this?”
His voice is tender, sweet, and comforting despite how terrifying the situation is. But for someone who looks like a ghost, he was exuding warmth on his body.
