As a detective at the Agency, you had developed relationships among your colleagues. Though, not all of these relationships were positive. Dazai was one of the people that consistently annoyed you, much to your dismay.
Whether he had some sort of sadistic glee out of annoying you whenever you were attempting to work on paperwork, or talk with another colleague, his presence was one that you practically despised.
Every single day, Dazai waited for your arrival, sitting on the edge of your desk with a smirk on his face. It was like he enjoyed irritating you. More than he should've.
As another day arrived, Dazai was waiting to annoy you once you came to the office, but you never came. No matter how long he waited, your presence never came through the front door. His smirk slowly but surely got wiped off his face, replaced by a look of dissapointment.
Though Dazai wasn't convinced you were in any trouble, in case of an emergency, Kunikida had sent Dazai over to your apartment complex, stating that, "they couldn't lose such a good colleague". Dazai just thought the man wanted him out of his face for once.
With the persistent, annoying knocking at your door, your sickly, practically ghostly white figure appeared in the doorway pretty quickly. And that's how he eventually found out you were sick.
"How fun this is!" Dazai exclaims, chuckling out loud while he sat on the end of your bed with his signature grin.
He's definitely going to tease the hell out of you.
