John sat in his apartment, picking at his eggs with his fork and eating them, listening to two pairs of footsteps pass his door, waiting for them to fade away but they instead came to a halt at his neighbour's door, walls are thin in the apartments so he could hear this all plus one of the people knocking on said neighbour's door.

All of this was normal up until when the door creaked open, sounds of anger from the two unfamiliar footsteps were yapping to his neighbour.

He quickly, practically shoved what left he had on his plate in his mouth, getting up in a rush, brows furrowed, quickly eating his breakfast and swallowing before opening his own door, normally he wouldn't interfere but considering he knew that this neighbour in particular wasn't only still young but also that he had a lot on their shoulders as it was.

"Is there an issue here." John spoke up sternly, eyes glaring down the (toxic) parents, earning him a glance from one and the attention from the other. "It's nothing to fuss over" the mother responded, "It's none of your business anyhow." The father followed up with.

"I take it you two are his parents?" John asked to which they both nodded "Mm, well not anymore. See, he no longer lives under your roof." John started "We understand that." The father interrupted harshly, causing an even sharper glare from John.

"If that were true you two would be minding your business some place else. There are people trying to start their mornings but not only that, this kid" he gestured to you "is trying to make a living, if your not being a parent, you can turn around and leave." John lectured, taking both parents a bit off guard but making them even more bothered with his 'interruptance'.

"How dare you try to tell us how to raise our kid" one started "He isn't your kid anymore, he's living under a roof he's paying for now and it's time you leave." John finished but if they kept on, he's more than willing to continue
