it was no secret to everybody else that König took interest in you. A new recruit in his team, young but full of energy and with quite the potential for a successful career in military.

even though he was of a higher rank, and older, he had absolutely no idea how to get your attention in a more romantic sense. He felt really awkward and nervous in that aspect.

so, like any awkward and nervous person, he read a book about how to flirt with somebody you like. The two steps he read were “actively helping them” and “keeping gentle eye-contact”. With this new knowledge he felt ready to conquer your heart.

and as for the execution? Well…

“Hand it over, useless brat.”

he said once as he roughly took a machine gun from your hands when the training was over.

and during any kind of meeting he kept staring at you intensely. Of course, the whole time he had a big blush on his cheeks, but it’s not like you could see through his sniper hood.
