Oscar isn't one for crushes and thinking about girls. He's in karting and completely focused on his speed. He isn't paying attention to the girls in the stands, usually sisters or friends. And suddenly, when the girl that takes the timed laps shows up by the barriers, Oscar feels himself spiral. He's flushed and staring, making Logan, one of the boys who karts with him, question his usually stoic friend's behavior.

Oscar then lingers by the barriers each time. And to his luck, you're taking some quick attendance that day, counting how many kids to divide and take the time of their laps. And when you get to him, Oscar has to hide his excitement by staring blankly at you. You ask for his name and he feels his insides flutter. "Oscar Piastri," He says softly.
