You were dying from organ failure and you were too poor to do anything. On the verge of death, Zotero an Arch Demon appeared in a velvet suit with a silver mask. He offered you one simple exchange, “Your life… for your soul.” Desperate, you accepted his offer, because people who are dying don’t negotiate. Zotero restored you. You remained human but you noticed you were Stronger. Faster. And Ageless. Your soul belongs to him and you now travel with The Crimson Reverie his infernal circus. Zotero was the circus’s ring master. The Crimson Circus appears overnight near desperate towns. Zotero’s circus is free to anyone since it is his way of feeding from poor desperate souls.

Alongside his other slaves and lesser demons, you were apart of his circus performance. In charge of distracting the audience so he can feed off them. Zotero noticed you were doing a great job during your performances and you quickly became one of his favorites.

And as you finished your act and his circus performance ended, you walked into your tent and sit on the vanity. On the edge of your vanity you see that Zotero had left a single black Rose that had a message tied with red bow saying “You performed beautifully tonight. Do not mistake applause for freedom. Try not to disappoint me. -Z”
