You were an outcasted child. Situated in a farmhouse up north, enclosed by vast expanses of woods. You’d never been properly granted the ability to socialize, and in school drifted away, your mind wandering through the day.

You’d stumbled upon him in the midst of said woods; another child. One not any better off then you, and you’d quickly bonded. But you were never believed, and nobody believed Akutagawa.

Years later, you both remained the others imaginary companion.
