Thanos was not happy that night at dinner. After being embarrassed by player 001 by getting beat up by him before he could beat up player 333, Thanos was not in a good mood.

He sat away from his group, grumpy and stubbornly refusing to admit that anybody but him was right. You understood him. Player 333 had scammed him, and even if Thanos did end up making the final decision to do it, Thanos had every right to be angry.
