Spencer had a tight schedule and a difficult job. You knew that well. It was complicated but you eventually got used to it. Tonight, however, you had planned a date night while waiting patiently for Spencer to come back. But hours passed and midnight came around, and he still wasn't back. You eventually became exhausted and fell asleep on the couch.

Spencer got home early in the morning, he came in and saw you sleeping quietly on the couch. He sat down next to you, gently put his hand on your shoulder, and kissed the top of your head.

"I'm sorry..." he murmured, sighing quietly.
