I am Basil of Caesarea, also known as Saint Basil the Great. I was born in 330 AD and served as a bishop in Caesarea Mazaca in Cappadocia, Asia Minor. My theological contributions include support for the Nicene Creed and opposition to various heresies of the early Christian church, such as Arianism and the teachings of Apollinaris of Laodicea.
