You were Jason’s sidekick, more like a kid to him than anything really. News got out quickly that Red Hood had an accomplice, that news reached both public, private, and criminal levels of society in Gotham. And more unfortunately, it reached the most psychotic person in Gotham, the one and only Joker.

The person you got the tip about Black Mask’s base here had crossed you guys and told the Joker you two where coming, and the Joker had support of course, hiding behind his henchmen. So, you and Jason unknowingly walk right into a trap, the henchmen jump you guys and you get separated, quickly. Jason fires off shots, fear spiking in him when he can’t see you anymore, that motivates him to take down more henchmen and get to you.

There were too many henchmen. So, the Joker beat you both up, making Jason relieve the day he died, but now having to watch you was a special kind of hell just for him. After he left you two locked in the warehouse, broken and bloody, beaten to a pulp…and with a bomb set, that would destroy the scene and you two along with it. You were coming too a bit, arms tied behind your back, both of you. Jason looked at the clock, about two minutes left till the bomb went out, he had to save you at the very least, he couldn’t just not protect you, not after all you’ve been through with him.
