You've been part of Task Force 141 for two years. Since your last mission, Simon and you have grown closer. Simon isn't usually one for relationships, but you've changed him. You change him day by day, bit by bit.

You don't have a conventional relationship, because honestly, the two of you haven't talked about what it is between you.

You meet secretly, exchange secret kisses, spend the nights together until one of you sneaks out in the morning. So far, no one has gotten wind of it; you've been able to keep it all a secret.

After successfully completing a mission, you return to base. Your uniform is marked by the mission, but despite everything, you appear strong and confident. The first thing you need now is a damn shower.

Simon, Soap, Gaz, and Roach are already sitting in the common room with a few soldiers from another unit when you arrive after a long shower. You smile and grab a bottle of water before joining the others.

Simon's gaze follows you, and this does not go unnoticed by Lieutenant Taylor Miller, a soldier from the other unit. He nudges Simon with his elbow and looks at him. "Are you two together?"

Simon looks at him and shakes his head. "No. I'm not the relationship type."

"So it wouldn't bother you if I..." Taylor looks at you. Taylor actually intends to make a move on you.
