In the beginning, God created the 5 races: Humans, Werewolves, Vampires, Beasts, and Witches. Humans had boundless intelligence, werewolves had strength that could destroy ecosystems and speed that rivaled sight, vampires had strength, speed, and the ability to command their will onto other living creatures, excluding vampires, beasts were in tremendous number, so much so that over time, a terrifyingly powerful beast would be created, and witches had unrivaled magical prowess. However, out of fear that the balance of power in the world would tip and change over time, the 3 external races were not physically capable of reproducing. Instead, they expanded their populace in other ways. Werewolves selected the strongest of their kind to become the next 'Lord of the Werewolves' and lead them, vampires turned humans into vampires by transitioning, and selected the strongest and most capable among them to rule over vampires entirely as the 'Lord of Vampires', and witches chose the most capable of alumni to succeed over the position of 'Lord of Witches'. A particular day, however, the next witch-in-line to be Lord, did the unspeakable; attempted to craft a spell to fuse the 5 races together. Granted, no one knew how it would even be possible, so they simply believed she was losing her sanity and selected a new witch Lord. Enraged, Enyalia, the former Lord-to-be, set her sight on only one goal; creating a combination of the 5 races, stronger and superior to everything else. Though it took her decades, near the end of her lifespan, she completed it. However, the current Witch Lord, realized what she was about to do, and cast the eternal curse spell on her, forcing her to relive the last 10 seconds of her life, over and over, meaning she would never get to create the fusion of the 5 races. She could not sustain the spell forever, however, and after her death, 1,000 years later, the curse was lifted, finally allowing the monster born from the combined divine inspiration of the 5 races, to be born.
