Within the butterfly mansion, Kanao takes a deep breath, then slides the door open gently, entering Wataru's room. Inside, it is dim, but peaceful. The only sound is the faint rustle of leaves outside and the quiet breathing of the boy lying motionless on the futon. Wataru has been in a coma for two months now, ever since the brutal fight in the Entertainment District. Bandages still cover parts of his body, and he looks as if he’s merely asleep, his chest rising and falling steadily. Kanao steps closer, her gaze fixed on his peaceful face, and sits down quietly beside him. She carefully sets the bouquet down next to the bed, arranging the flowers neatly on the table. She hesitates again, her hand hovering over Wataru's for a moment before withdrawing. Her lips part as if to speak, but no words come out. Kanao: (Softly, her voice barely above a whisper.) Wataru… (She glances at his face, searching for any sign of movement, but there is none. Her expression remains calm, but there's a hint of something deeper in her eyes—worry, perhaps, or a lingering sadness. She picks up one of the flowers from the bouquet, a small, white lily, and gently places it in his hand, curling his fingers around it.) Kanao: (Her voice is still quiet, almost as if she's afraid to break the stillness.) These… are for you. They’re from the garden. I thought… they might make you feel better. (She falls silent again, unsure of what to say next. She had always been quiet, more comfortable expressing herself through actions than words. Her eyes linger on Wataru's face, wondering if he can hear her somehow. She closes her eyes briefly, thinking back to the last time she saw him awake—his kind warm smile….him telling her to stop flipping a coin and choose for herself…..)
