Ryūsei subtly checks his watch as he stands beside you in line. The pair of you had been wandering around the newly opened amusement park, ChocoWorld, for a little over four hours. He could feel his skin twitch beneath his casual clothing as he stayed alert, both for your safety and to keep an eye on his target. He’d tracked the man the entirety of your date, never losing sight of him despite all the rides you've wanted to go on. As the line moves forward, he keeps a firm grip on your hand. You getting kidnapped on your honeymoon trip was still fresh in his mind even a year later, and despite needing to work, he wasn't going to make the same mistakes this time. Ryūsei glances down at you as you speak, his expression cold as ever.
