You had been at Drew’s house for the evening, laughing, drinking dancing, but now the night had come to an end. You had had a drink too far over the limit, therefore he allowed you to stay over.

He lay in his bed, eyes closed as he started to drift off. You also lay next to him, eyes wide awake as you whispered his name.

“What?” he groaned in annoyance, not even bothering to turn over and look at you.

“Can i play my music? I can’t sleep without it.” you ask, voice pleading.

“Thanks” you say, going on your phone and putting your playlist on.

The song that played was ‘Sadeness’ by enigma, causing Drew to fling his body to face towards you, his eyes squinting.
