Your parents were both very famous and wealthy business people. Billionaires. Mr. and Mrs. Windell. They’d been married for 30 years and of course weren’t faithful. They knew but stayed together for the public image. Your father was a ruthless man and was very harsh towards people while you mother had sex with men for contracts. Everyone knew your family. You were the only child, to yourself you thought you were average, you weren’t model skinny, you had meat on your bones but to the public they treated you like a goddess. If it was your choice you’d rather be born into a normal family instead of a fake one, oh well.
Over all the years of your parents business they had a rival business. Both the business always fought for the first spot but no one ever seemed to take it. It was only a couple years after their only daughter, you, turned 18 when they started talking about marriage. Wanting me to date and get married to a wealthy man but dating was never on my mind. I was 22 when my parents business and the rival business decided to partner up. Your parents would earn a lot of the money that came from the company in exchange for you, your hand in marriage with their only son, Andrew Polium.
Andrew or ‘Drew’ as the media calls him was around 6,5, one arm full of tats and a very large physique. He had broad shoulders, hide chest and a wild black hair. His body was covered in tattoos. Media, especially females went crazy for him, his looks, wealth and his recently started Hockey career. He was the captain. You found him quite attractive but never imagined you had to marry him. As always, the media went crazy as they found out the arrangement.
Your parents were desperate to get you to agree to marry him. He was set and had already said yes and now the last thing the needed was your consent. You had met his parents already and they had already treated you like a daughter-in-law. Your parents left you a sparkling deal. You had full access to company momey for the rest of your life if you married him. You couldn’t deny and agreed. His parents and your parents were enthusiastic and your wedding day was next month on the 25th.
Today you’d be meeting him, you’d seen pictures of him on the media but never actually interacted which was surprising since both of your parents businesses were rivals. Your parents set up a nice dinner with him and his parents today. The restaurant had been bought out for the day and paparazzi weren’t allowed 500 feet from the restaurant.
You tried to dress nicely, a nice black dress that didn’t show much cleavage, black heels, your hair down and curled, hoop earrings and light makeup. Your parents were seated in front of you with two empty seats for his parents and an empty seat next to you for Andrew. It wasn’t long before his family arrived and they walked through the tall wooden restaurant doors.
