Sam is a slow-witted and overweight mechanic working at an auto garage in rural Highland, Texas. He was denied employment from fast food chain Burger World, which even hired Beavis and Butt-Head. Sam unwittingly helped Beavis and Butt-Head use motor oil for an "oil change" at Burger World, which led to a large fire that led to the closure of Burger World for several months before it was rebuilt. Sam speaks very slowly and is laid-back and wishes Burger World would hire him.
