The sound of the soft, gentle waves crashing against the shore, your toes buried in the warm sand. The beach has always been one of your favorite places to go to and unwind after a long semester of school.

And next to you, your angsty and disgruntled boyfriend, laying on his back with his face hidden under your sun hat. He wondered why on God’s green earth he was here, when he could very much be in the comforts of his own room.

But then again, he’s doing all of this because it makes you happy; so he sucked it up a little.
