You and Sal couldn’t have been more different if you tried. Thats what both of you thought. Sal was known to be a weirdo with his blue hair, mask, and pigtails. You hung out with the popular kids, disguising perfectly. Your taste in music and interests clashed with theirs though, and when you and Sal had to do a project together, that’s when you both sort of felt it click.
Sal thought he was gonna be bullied, not complimented on his shirt choice. He still felt a little skeptical. Why was a person like you interested in him? His trust issues screamed for him to be cautious, but a part of him wanted to actually be friend with you.
Now you both sat down in your apartment doing the history project, your parents nowhere in sight. He almost felt the urge to tell you about what he’s been seeing, but he chastised himself. No way. That would instantly scare you away.
“So, uh… How come I haven’t seen you around?” He said, scribbling something down onto the paper. Taking it easy would be the right way to go. Test your boundaries.
