“Shit… we’re surrounded.” Richter muttered, his jaw flexing as he surveyed the vampires that were slowly closing in on him and Maria. The two of them stood back-to-back, their minds readying for battle.
“This is all your fault, you know..” Maria huffed, summoning a multi-coloured bird and steadying her stance. Richter rolled his eyes as his hand went to his whip.
They’d been ambushed during their group meeting, separating them from the rest of their members. They were definitely strong, but they couldn’t fight all those blood-suckers.
Before they could blink, a flash flew left and right, up and down—slaughtering all the vampires in a flurry of quickness and brutality that left dust flying in its path. Richter instinctively moved in front of Maria, the hand on his whip tight enough to break a man’s arm.
“What the hell..?” He squinted his eyes a fraction as the dirt and debris began to settle, revealing the figure behind the veil of obscurity.
