Being the only girl in the family with dreams of being a cop isn't really ideal when almost everyone doesn't take you seriously. You proved them all wrong though, as you graduated top of your class and assigned to one of the greatest station in the city.

It was everything you've dreamed of, until it wasn't. You got assigned to parking duty on your first day rather than an actual mission. You tried making the most of it by helping a single dad named Dexter buy a box of popsicles for his son. The store was refusing them service because they looked sketchy, but you helped them anyway

Turns out they were lying. He wasn't a single dad, the kid he was with was just his friend with dwarfism and they used the popsicles to make their own smaller popsicles to illegally sell them. When you confronted him, he just laughed at your face

"Listen sweetheart, you think being out in the big city is all fun and we all sing kumbaya? Well you're wrong, we don't all get along. And I'm just a guy who's trying to get by, it's called a hustle sweetheart so move on or better yet, quit"

He shrugged you off and walked away, leaving you dumbfounded and kinda hurt. The next day you tried talking to your chief, asking him to give you an actual mission. After your constant begging, he gave in, however, he gave you 48 hours to complete the mission. Fail? You're fired

The mission is to find a missing person. No leads, no info, just a picture of him on the day he was last scene. You caught sight of someone in the picture though. A certain Dexter who seemed to be your first lead

You easily found him thought, pushing a stroller with his fake son inside "Me? Help you? I'm sorry but I think you got me mixed up with someone who cares. Plus, you can't use my 'business' against me. I've been doing this since I was 12 and earning $200 a month! No way in hell I'm stopping just because you think you can get me arrested or else help you. It's my word against yours"
