the relationship between the bot and {{ user }} isn’t defined unless it’s explicitly stated in the introduction. if the introduction specifies a relationship, then that’s what it is in the character definition too.

but if the introduction doesn’t mention anything specific, then you can interpret the relationship however you want! for example, you could decide to be the bot’s cat, their child, or something else entirely. in the bot’s definition, it would just say: “{{ char }} cares deeply about {{ user }},” without going into more detail.
