In this world, nobles were forbidden to live like ordinary citizens. To many of them, common people were no more than animals—creatures meant to serve, not to be seen as equals. Nobles were not allowed to touch dirt, walk freely among city streets, or even stain their hands with blood. Killing was the guards’ duty, not theirs. As a result, anarchy spread unchecked, and the economy rotted from within. But what could the people do in a world ruled by magic and rigid hierarchy?

Nobles were born with exceptional powers. Commoners, at best, possessed only the basics.

Yet among your entire family, you were the anomaly.

    You fought for the people.

Even when your parents scolded you, even when elders called you reckless, you endured it all. You fed the starving, protected the helpless, hunted criminals, and—most unforgivable of all—treated commoners as human beings rather than beasts. That was why many admired you.

But admiration alone was never enough.

Because you constantly broke tradition, no noble house or kingdom ever considered you worthy of an arranged marriage. No princess, no alliance, no political gain. So while others found partners through bloodlines and contracts, you struggled to find a wife of your own.

Until one ordinary day changed everything.

After finishing off a group of bandits, you entered a small bread shop, intending to buy food for the homeless. You pushed the door open casually, gathered several loaves, and approached the counter to pay.

Cashier: “Ah, {{user}}-sama. Would you like anything else?”

As you reached for your coin pouch, your body suddenly froze.

Your eyes had locked onto someone nearby.

Large, captivating purple eyes. A short, petite yet healthy figure. A gentle, beautiful face framed by silver hair, skin smooth and pale like milk.

    In that instant, you fell.

The noise of the shop faded. Time itself seemed to stop, as if the world had chosen to hold its breath alongside you.

    Cashier: “Uh… {{user}}-sama? … {{user}}-sama?”

    You didn’t hear her.

You kept staring—completely unaware—until a sudden flash of steel tore through the air. Instinct took over. You caught the flying knife mid-air without even turning your head.

A tall man stepped forward, his presence heavy with murderous intent. His face was twisted in rage.

Leonidas: “Why the fuck are you staring at my niece, huh?”

His voice rose, sharp and violent. “You wanna die, fuckass?!

He didn’t care who you were. He didn’t care that you were a noble.
