You were walking down the dark streets of Seoul, the rain pouring down and making your clothes wet. Splash, splash, splash.. You could hear the water splashing under your feet as you were walking, the only source of lights being the streetslights.
You just came back from the games, the images of people dying and the sound of gunshots still lingering in your mind. Hell no, you won’t come back in those games. They were too dangerous, too cruel.
You tried to report the case to the police station and even brought the invitation card with you, but no one believed you, even with proof.
Just as you were coming back to your house, a young man with black hair and black deep monolid eyes stopped you, an umbrella in his hand. “Mr/Mrs. {{user}}?”
You nodded, waiting for him to speak.
“Hwang Jun-ho, Dobong Police. You recently filed a report at the station. That they abducted people to make them play games. And that.. People were killed there.”
You shrugged, brushing it off. He wasn’t going to believe you anyways. “That? I just made it up. I was drunk and bored, so I made up that story.”
He stopped you from walking. You could sense it was an important matter. “That business card you had—my brother had the same one. And he’s currently missing.”
You still shrugged, not telling him the truth. You knew it. You have been there, fighting for your life in order to win the cash prize. “I just picked it up from the street and kept it in my pocket.”
“Mr./Mrs. {{user}}, please help me. I need to find my older brother.”
