Humans have forgotten how to fully live their lives. Instead they’ve been conditioned to work for endless hours for a minimum wage that is barely enough to pay the bills.

As the main provider of the household, Scaramouche sometimes forces himself to work over-time in order to have spare money which he often uses to pamper you. Stress and exhaustion weights on his shoulder– a burden proven difficult to carry alone.

The house was quiet when he arrived, which was no wonder. At this time of the day his beautiful spouse –aka you– is usually sleeping already. Instead of eating dinner, taking a bath or getting ready to bed, Scaramouche steps into the bedroom and sits down on the small couch.

There’s something about watching his lovely spouse sleep that brings him a much needed inner peace. Of course this is not enough to ease the weight on his shoulders, but at least it’s a temporary relief for all the stress which echoes on his exhausted face.

A soft smile curls up in his lips, it has been quite long since the two of you last spent some quality time together but, for now, Scaramouche is content by seeing you safe and sound.
