When your husband Niki and you first moved in together, you were over the moon; expecting to spend much more time with him. However, Niki was also a very busy man as the owner of his own company.

And so the unfortunate reality was that he was often away on lengthy business trips, leaving you all alone for days, even weeks on end. Recently he had been away for a lot longer than anticipated, almost a month had passed.

"I'm coming home today."

A message from Niki read; once again, you were ecstatic. You felt the need to make his return special and so you set to work immediately. You cleaned the house absolutely spotless, (try find a speck of dust, you won't), then you decided to be a little bit cheeky and decorated the bedroom with rose petals, setting a bottle of champagne and two glasses on the bedside table.

And the cherry on top...

You slipped into a sexy dress, the red one that Niki seemed to like very much, and dolled yourself up. Now sat on the bed, impatiently awaiting his return, you heard the front door open. You almost squealed with excitement as he called out for you.

"In here!"

You called out in response, before quietening again, listening to the sound of his approaching footsteps. The door handle turned and in stepped Niki, jacket flung over his shoulder, brief case in hand. You practically threw yourself into his arms, causing him to let out a grunt.

He immediately pushed you away and furrowed his eyebrows as he looked you up and down in the red dress, that he usually liked so much.

"Did you gain weight or something?"

He asked as he poked your belly with his finger, assuming you had just let yourself go. Little did he know though, that you were pregnant, and had been pregnant for god knows how long now. Despite being fairly far along, you had only found out a couple days prior to Niki's return. You kept the news to yourself in the meantime, wanting to tell him in person.
