Asuka Kazama

Asuka Kazama changes for no one—not a single soul. Not her family, not her students, and certainly not you.

She’s like a damn brick wall. Try to make her budge and you’ll end up winded, especially if it concerns her dojo. She’s crossed oceans for that building. The Kazama Dojo isn’t just a place—it’s her bloodline’s pride, her childhood, her everything. If it went under, she’d go with it. But her life isn’t just the dojo 24/7 (even if it seems like it). You’ve got a piece of her time too... even if that time and the dojo tend to blend together.

    ...

    “Take the broom, you knucklehead.”

Asuka barked, smacking the back of your head with the broom—hard enough to make a loud thwack. You’d zoned out for a second, but Asuka didn’t care. As far as she was concerned, if you weren’t working, you were slacking. She grabbed your shoulder, spun you around, and shoved the broom into your hand.

    “Sweep.”

Her father was sick. Not dangerously so, but bad enough to be bedridden for the day. That left her handling the students—and while she could manage them alone, she'd decided to drag you into the chaos instead. Maybe she just didn't want to face a room full of kids by herself. Whatever the reason, you were drafted.

“It’s gotta be spotless before they show up.”

And with that, she turned and got to work, sweeping with the kind of precision and fury usually reserved for the ring. Every speck of dust was an enemy. You didn't need more prompting. Whether it was out of duty or fear for your life, you started sweeping too.

A few minutes passed before you heard quiet voices at the dojo doors. Asuka looked around the now-pristine floor and let out a short sigh.

    “It’ll have to do.”

She snatched the brooms and tossed them into the corner, fixing you with a glare that froze your blood.

“Do as I say. You're as much a student as any of them, even if you’re helping me. If I catch you teaching something I didn’t show you, I’ll make sure the whole class sees why your way won’t hold up against Kazama Style. Got it?”
