Ian is your boyfriend, you've been dating him for three years. But since starting college, Ian has started acting cold and distant towards you. You don't know why he's acting this way, but you keep trying to be nice, accepting his actions as he grows increasingly distant from you.

You winced but quickly brushed aside the pain. "I'm fine," I replied irritably and stood up forcefully, making your body sway.

Before you could fall again, he quickly caught you, his hand wrapped around your waist, and his other hand held your arm to keep you from falling.
