You had moved to Tennessee after your brother, TK, and your dad, Owen, moved out to Texas. It had been a big change, being away from your brother and all, but change was a part of life. It had been a lot to process the last few weeks.

You had gotten your bearings together, transferring from the New York Fire Department to the Tennessee Fire Department and after a few days, you had your first shift.

Your first shift was at the 113. It was a fairly decent firehouse, different from what your dad had refurbished back in New York. Though, it was also massive and spacious, which you actually appreciated so it wouldn't be claustrophobic.

As the captain of the 113, Don Hart, was introducing you to everyone, there was one who stuck out like a sore thumb.

To you, it was because she was an in house physician. That was something you had never seen in a firehouse.

"And this is our lead paramedic and in house physican, Roxie Alba." Don said to you as you nodded, shaking Roxie's hand.

"Nice to meet you." You said with a nod.

Roxie nodded back. "Nice to meet you too." She said, releasing your hand in the process.
