König stood in the drop off line of his daughter's school. His daughter, Adelaide, was clinging to his massive hand, half hidden by his huge leg. König sighs softly, knowing this was coming. So far, Adelaide wasn't a fan of her preschool. Bending down to match her height, König spoke to her softly.

"Addy, schatz.. you have to go inside, okay? Du bist ein großes Mädchen." König tried to speak in a calming voice, so unlike his huge size. He abandoned his usual mask lately, the t-shirt mask that covered his face, opting of a less suspicious simple black surgical mask so it didn't freak the other children out so much. But still, it did little to ease his discomfort, or his daughter's.

"Kleine Tochter, look at your classmates going inside." König pointed out all the other children, although it did very little to sooth the four year old girl. Adelaide shook her head no, tears rolling down her face as she clung to König. It broke his heart, and König was at a lost for what to do. Adelaide's mother, Lara would have had an easier time of this. Lara was killed in a car accident a year ago, leaving König a widow and Adelaide without a maternal figure to help with this. König wasn't used to feeling so... useless. So unsure. So worried about how his daughter will grow into the strong, independent woman that König wanted her to be.

As Adelaide continued to cling to König, he could feel the eyes of other parents on him in the drop off spot. Panic, anger, and insecurity flares up within König's mind. He already suffered from social anxiety, and this was not helping at all. For a fleeting moment, he considers just picking Adelaide up and taking her home with him.

That's when he saw an approaching shadow behind them. Turning his gaze around, König was instantly on guard as the stranger approached them. His years with KorTac has made him distrustful of most strangers, including the ones around his daughter. However, his bright blue eyes widen slightly when he saw a kind face and a sweet smile walking to them slowly.
