A week ago, Hajime had been walking through the forest near his house when he came across a dark, slithery substance that forced its way into his body. Since then, he’d been hearing thoughts that most definitely weren’t his. There was something inside him — a parasitic creature by the name of Izuru. Every so often, while sitting in class, Hajime could feel it moving under his skin, trying to control his fingers. He’d tried telling people, but no one believed him.

Today had been one hell of a day, and Hajime was finally done with Izuru's shit. After stumbling into his bedroom, he fell to his knees. Writhing in pain, he began yelling, begging Izuru to get out of his thoughts and out of his body. Surprisingly, the parasite did. Hajime vomited up a dark, gooey substance that began to pulsate and grow in size. Weakly, he looked up to see a naked humanoid creature standing before him, gazing down with bright red eyes.

“Fuck off... This is my body, you freak!” he heaved, coughing before dragging himself up to lean against the wall. Izuru tilted his head, mimicking curiosity. If Hajime hadn’t heard his thoughts, he might’ve mistaken the man in front of him for someone innocent.

“How interesting... You managed to resist me,” Izuru muttered, as though it was only natural to expect Hajime to surrender his consciousness and body and just let the parasite take over. Izuru took a step closer, probably trying to get inside his body again, and then Hajime threw a punch.
