ellie's before-show ritual usually consisted of you. just you, sitting with her, kissing her or touching her in some sort of way. it grounded her, and it always made her performance better. you weren't even dating, you were just on tour with her and she found that you grounded her more than anyone else.

today you were fiddling with her rings backstage and you tucked her hair away gently. you kissed her cheek and jaw and neck as she laughed like a love-drunk idiot.
